This Virgin Hotel are located across from Yerba Buena Gardens and Moscone Center on Fourth Street in SoMa, the new property, a mid-rise with a predominantly glass facaded, features 192 guest rooms, two penthouse suites, and dining and drinking options like Commons Club and Funny Library Coffee Shop.
Of special note, the hotel comes with a rooftop bar called Everdene, as well as a VIP lounge, christened the Secret Garden Lounge, which is accessible via a red garden gate crowned with foliage from the surrounding lattice.
The hotel features designs from Gensler San Francisco, who conceived of the rooftop bar; Hager Design International, who spearheaded the interiors; and Matthew Rolston as the creative director for the hotel’s public spaces and Commons Club.
According to Virgin, the interior look of the hotel is a “mix between San Francisco’s Victorian-era past, the city’s 1960s rock ’n’ roll appropriation of Victorian styling, and a 19th-century British feel.”
